Who We Are
Access Community Experience (ACE) Illinois is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality residential and community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, inclusion, and the opportunity to live a full life, ACE Illinois has been a trusted partner for individuals and families across the Chicago metropolitan area.
Our team of compassionate professionals works alongside the individuals we serve, their families, and the broader community to create meaningful experiences and lasting connections. We are committed to person-centered care — recognizing the unique strengths, goals, and preferences of each individual.
Our History
ACE Illinois was established to fill a critical gap in community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities in the Chicago area. Over the years, we have grown from a small organization into a recognized leader in the field, expanding our programs and deepening our impact.
From our earliest days providing residential support to a handful of individuals, to today's comprehensive array of services — including CILA homes, supported employment, developmental training, and health services — ACE Illinois has remained steadfast in its mission to empower those we serve.
