- Depending on the preferences of individual service-recipients, facilitating participation in religious, social and cultural events.
- Providing community-based educational activities.
- Providing community-based leisure and recreational activities such as: going to the movies, shopping, bowling, zoos, parks, swimming, beaches, plays, hairdresser, barbershop; eating at restaurants; attending support group functions, community meetings and block parties;
camping and vacation trips (by car, train or airplane); visiting friend and family; voting.
